The Delphia Escape 1080s is an evolution of the popular Escape 1050 and features a semi-displacement category B hull, the option of a larger engine and a shortened wheelhouse for enjoying the sunshine.
Below decks the Delphia Escape 1080s is very similar to the Escape 1050 with 2 or 3 double cabins available depending on the owners choice. Power is via an very economical 30hp inboard Nanni diesel engine and options to upgrade this engine at time of order up to 230hp are available. The Escape 1080s is fitted with a 4 kW bow thruster as standard.
The standard specification Delphia Escape 1080s features two full double cabins, one fore and one aft. There is an option for a second double aft cabin at time of order. Depending on the cabin layout chosen there may be the option for use of the table / sofa as an occasional berth.
The linear galley on the Delphia Escape 1080s is located on the starboard side of the saloon for the standard build 2-cabin layout and moves to the port side for 3-cabin layout. In both layouts the 2-burner cooker is located centrally with a retractable counter top covering it when not in use, there is room for an optional gas oven below the 2-burner cooker. In both layouts the stainless steel sink is located forward of the cooker location whilst the optional fridge is located aft. Depending on the layout a number of lockers and drawers provide ample storage space.
Hot & cold water is standard on the Escape 1080s and is piped via a 150 liter tank as well as a 30 litre calorifier which can be heated via the engine or shore power.
The standard galley counter-top is HPL (High Pressure Laminate) but may be upgraded to Corian if desired. In general a light counter top colour is offered for darker interior timber colours and a vice versa. A fire extinguisher & fire blanket is provided for your safety. An optional remote gas solenoid with integrated gas alarm is available as an optional extra.
As with the galley, the saloon in the Delphia Escape 1080s will vary depending upon the chosen cabin layout and even within cabin layouts there are different saloon layout options and thanks to a single interior moulding it is very easy to keep clean. The standard interior timber is a beech effect but upgrades are available to mahogany, walnut, cherry and teak effect.
Various different fabrics are available for the saloon (& cabin) cushions and the option to upgrade to higher grade fabrics & leathers also exists. For privacy roller blinds are available for the horizontal deck hatches whilst pleated blinds are available for vertical hatches and portlights. As previously mentioned the saloon table may be available to to convert into a useful occasional double berth depending upon chosen layout.
As an optional extra the party wall between the forward cabin or optional forward heads and saloon can be wired for TV (12v/230v & antenna).
The tall and spacious heads compartment of the Escape 1080s features a moulded interior along a manual flush toilet connected to a 80 litre stainless steel holding tank. Popular upgrade options for the heads compartment is an upgrade to electric flush toilet and the installation of a shower which includes exchanging the heads compartment wall panels from timber to a GRP laminate. An option also exists for putting a second heads compartment forward of the saloon an just aft of the forepeak.
The self draining cockpit in the Delphia Escape 1080s is fitted with three good sized lockers. The port side cockpit locker doubles as a gas locker whilst the aft centre locker also features access to the emergency steering system. The helmsman steering position is located on the starboard side of the cockpit and upgrades to the standard helmsman chair are available as well as drinks holders on both port/starboard sides.
A third locker is located in the floor of the cockpit to the aft. This locker features access to the holding tank and the emergency steering bypass valve. Also accessible via this locker are accessories such as the the shore power circuit breakers & battery charger and optional cabin heating unit. Access to this locker is also available from the aft cabin via a removable hatch.
The cockpit is delivered with a white anti-slip surface as standard with an upgrade to teak or artificial teak as an optional extra. Outdoor removable cushions & removable backrests are available for the Escape 1080s to add to your comfort as is a removable cockpit table for al-fresco dining. An optional wheelhouse sliding door is also available that encloses the cockpit fully for those who want to use their boat in inclement weather.
Safe & easy access to the Escape 1080s is via an opening in the aft starboard side of the cockpit. Young & old alike can simply step safely aboard from a marina pontoon onto the aft bathing platform. The cockpit opening is protected by an safety line and an optional hinged half door is available to ensure even greater safety for young children or pets. The aft bathing platform also features a retractable ladder.
The deck of the Delphia Escape 1080s is exceptionally safe with an anti-slip surface covering all side and forward deck walking surfaces. Side deck lifelines with stanchions or optional solid hand rail add to safety and considerably reduce the risk of someone falling on deck or overboard, more handrails are also provided along the wheel house roof. Six mooring cleats are provided with 2 located in the bow, 2 located aft and two amidships.
The wheelhouse, with a hard top, features a moulded Plexiglas windscreen with a green tint that is matched by panoramic side windows. Together these enhance safety with all round visibility for the helmsman and a driving position that is sheltered from both wind & wave. Bright but lower power consumption LED navigation lights are standard.
The large anchor locker provides room for a large amount of chain as well as all your cleaning materials. The optional anchor platform is strongly recommended and a 700W windlass is a further option with remote cockpit operation also available.
The standard hull colour for the Escape 1080s is white with a range of optional colours available including, light grey, dark grey, green, navy & red with custom colours available upon request. A 4 kW bow thruster with its own 90Ah battery is standard on the Escape 1080s making tight harbour manoeuvres a breeze.
A variety of stripe colours are available to suit your hull colour and one interesting detail of the Delphia Escape 1080s is that there is a recessed indentation for the hull stripes meaning they are much less prone to damage from rubbing fenders so your boat can always look its best.
The engine offered as standard for the Escape 1080s is the tried and trusted N3-30 three cylinder engine from Nanni Diesel. This marinised Kubota engine features a shaft drive and is renowned for its reliability. Access to the engine is via the removable moulded (and weather proof) companionway steps as well as via two large opening hatches in the aft cabin. This means there is full access to three sides of the engine for servicing & maintenance. The engine sits on its own bed which is completely independent of the bilges of the Delphia Escape1080s. This means any oil or fluid leaks or spills are contained and do not contaminate the bilge.
The Escape 1080s is equipped with a dedicated start 90Ah battery with operation of the engine via a key & push button start. The engine includes a start / stop solenoid operated via the ignition key. The stainless steel diesel fuel tank has a capacity of 150 litres.
Extensive engine upgrade options at the time of order include Nanni N4.50, Nanni N4.80, Volvo D2-75, Volvo D3-170 and Volvo T4-230.
The Escape 1080s features three batteries as standard namely a 90Ah start battery, a 110Ah house battery and a 90Ah bow thruster battery, an upgrade is available to add an additional 110Ah house battery for extended running. The Escape 1080s is fitted with BEP Marine voltage sensing relays which automatically prioritises charging of the starter battery. The LED lighting system provides bright lighting with low power consumption to all cabins, saloon, heads and wheelhouse. Externally the navigation and motoring lights are also LED.
Shore power is standard on the Escape 1080s includes a circuit for sockets and the optional hot water cylinder. The shore power installation features a battery charger and a galvanic isolator. A galvanic isolator is a device used to block low voltage DC currents coming on board your boat on the shore power ground wire. These currents could cause corrosion to your underwater metals such as propeller, shaft etc.
The Escape 1080s includes a digital display giving indication of start, house & bow thruster voltages as well as levels for diesel, water & holding tanks. A magnetic compass and a Lowrance Hook-4 chartplotter / fishfinder are also fitted as standard on the Escape 1080s with options at time of purchase to upgrade to higher specification devices.
A DSC VHF is also available from Simrad with 2-way DSC integration carried out in the factory. For entertainment a Fusion 205 series Marine Radio with Bluetooth/AM/FM/iPod/USB is offered as well as a marine grade cockpit & saloon speakers. An optional colour screen DCSM is available for displaying battery voltage and water / fuel / holding tank levels.

All Delphia motor cruisers are built to order to exact customer specification in the Delphia shipyard in Olecko in eastern Poland. Delphia plan all their production a year in advance so customers must take this time delay into account when planning their boat purchase. Due to varying exchange rates and the cost of fuel we provide an approximate boat delivery price only. This can be firmed up closer to the delivery date. Rest assured we do not make a margin on boat delivery and customers are free to use their own delivery method.
We are registered for both Republic of Ireland & United Kingdom VAT and can therefore charge the UK VAT rate of 20% to Northern Ireland customers.
